Sf parades

Please join us March 7, as we celebrate the Year of the Horse! Bleacher ticket sales will begin Oct. The Chinese New Year Parade features dancers, dragons, traditional musicians, floats, student groups, and more. We love San Francisco for its breathtaking views, rich history, and vibrant culture—but nothing compares to experiencing its Chinatown, the oldest in North America, during the Chinese New Year Parade.

As the largest parade outside Asia, the Chinese New Year Parade fills the streets with glowing lanterns, lion dances, and firecrackers. From the faces to the floats, the dances and drums, The San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade took to the streets, with American-Chinese actor and longtime SF resident Joan Chen kicking off the event as this year's grand marshall.

Thousands packed the city in anticipation of the annual celebration. Skip to content. Watch the Parade Live Stream! Featured Stories.
